      Entrevista

      I received a phone call from the recruitment lead on a Monday to gauge my suitability, then I was booked in for a video interview three days later with the marketing manager and HR director. The lead called to check in on me the morning of the interview. That afternoon it went for over an hour; the director asked me a series of questions about my values, preferred ways of working, and my plans to stay in Manchester (she told me there was flexibility to suit my needs), and then the marketing manager asked me more technical questions about my skills and experience. It was a friendly but direct conversation and left me feeling positive. The following Monday, the lead called me to confirm I'd progressed to a second-stage interview, and if I could complete two small tasks to showcase my skills. I felt that the tasks were appropriate and not too difficult. My second interview was onsite that Thursday with only the marketing manager. We discussed my tasks and talked more about the role, marketing team, and workplace culture. It was very positive and the manager and I got along easily. He told me he thought I'd be happy with the result of the interview. Later that afternoon the lead called to offer me the role, I accepted immediately. The manager also emailed me his congratulations. I started work two Mondays later. Overall it was a concise interview experience and I felt supported and enthused throughout.
