The process was a phone call initially, followed up with a face to face interview with several people. Fairly extensive questioning but typical enough. The next round was again meeting with a number of people from the business and going over similar interview questions. Wasn't overly challenging and felt it had been a pleasant experience. Up until this stage my impressions had been positive. However it fell apart. Despite being told they would be in contact for a follow up, there was radio silence. I emailed them looking for an update and even resorted to ringing HR who promised that I would be called back. Nothing.... Incredibly disrespectful to just ignore someone who took a day and a half's holiday to attend the various interviews. A simple phone call or email to say no really would not have cost a lot of time. Left a bad taste. If treated in such a way for a relatively senior position, would question if you'd want to work for such a company?
