After submitting an application through their web-based portal, I was contacted by an internal recruiter for a project manager role. My conversation with the recruiter was high-level and generally pleasant, so I was excited to continue the process. A week or so later I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager, which was pretty neutral. I offered some ideas of how I can could help, and the hiring manager seemed pleasant enough but certainly kept things non-committal. Then nothing, crickets. I followed up with the recruiter a couple weeks later acknowledging I assumed I wouldn't be moving forward and asked for any feedback she could provide, and nothing beyond that ever again.
