Seven rounds of interviews only to be ghosted. 7 rounds. 1. Initial call with a recruiter 2. Take-home assignment 3. Talk with Hiring Manager 4. Talk with Hiring Manager's Boss 5. Talk with the International Team 6. In-person Panel Interview Vibe Check. 7. Final interview with Hiring Manager After 7 interviews (a cumulative 4 hours plus an assignment), I was told that it was down to one other person and me, and they couldn't decide, so after all of that and a work assignment, I was told... "Give us your final pitch. Why should we choose you?" I was told to wait. I checked in after 2 weeks and was told there was a delay in the decision-making process. I checked in after another 2 weeks and was told to wait. It has now been 6 months, and I still haven't received an offer or a rejection. Advanced Bionics/Sonova has a deeply unserious and outdated hiring process.
