By far, the worst interview process I have ever experienced. I was interviewed 3 times, once over the phone by the owner, 2 in person interviews. They had no intention of hiring me based on their affiliation with my current employer who I assured would not create a conflict of interest. Instead, they tried sourcing other candidates through my previous employers and education because hydraulic specialist are hard to find in our region. NEVER ONCE was I asked any technical questions such as how would I approach challenges in the field, or any basic details a hydraulics specialist should know. Instead, I was scrutinized by a front of the house marketing personal with a degree in cosmetology and some HR consultant, both of which probably can't even spell "hydraulics". 3 interviews, 16 hours of driving, no callback, no incentive from the beginning.
