Applied online and was reached out by the recruiter for the first round. Just after one introductory question recruiter stated that they needed someone with a fintech background and they only wanted to connect because they found my experience impressive and wanted to connect for future prospects. Overall a frustrating experience due to lack of transparency and unpreparedness on the recruitment team. Equity prominently stated in the job description clearly isn’t followed.

tbh it feels a bit like they're just trying to phish for free ideas for their own business expansion as I was told I did very well on the case but was eventually rejected due to some "background fit reasons", which they could've obviously spotted during the CV screening round or the following behavioural round, before they asked me to invest tremendous time to prep for the take home assignment
