Once you submit your resume, they call you in for an in-person interview.
They ask you to bring tights. The interviews usually consist of you and some other girls who are applying. There someone from management explains exactly what the job is, what it pays, their expectations etc. Then they give you an outfit from one of the shows they're promoting, give you some flyers and take you to times square as a group to try out the position. For me, I had to go alone, with the guy from management, because the other girl in the interview didn't want to go. There I saw some of the girls promoting, and he introduced me to them and I asked them for tips and stuff, and they were very encouraging and nice. Also, they looked so amazing.
Anyway, then the management guy left me alone for a couple of minutes, he just stepped back to see how I interacted with the people. I was very nervous, of course, but jumped right into it and tried some of the tips the girls gave me. In this job you have to deal with a lot of rejection, because you'll hear more "no's" than anything throughout your day. Afterward, he walked you back to the base, he tells you how he thinks you did. Then, usually offers you the job once you're there. If you did well, that is.
