Multiple one on one interviews and some group interviews. Process was SLOW, recruiters were constantly changing and difficult to get in touch with, the process was halted for months before resuming. I was asked for references and then ghosted about the position. The next contact I got was from a recruiter asking if I'd be interested in a position that paid 20% less than my asking minimum salary, which was insulting, to say the least.

The process was unprofessional and prioritized buzzwords over results. I completed a data task with 100% accuracy, only to be rejected because I didn't use a specific AI tool for a simple two-page document. It is a clear case of "automation theater". The team cares more about the appearance of using trendy tools than the actual integrity and correctness of the output.
The hiring manager was cold, dismissive, and lacked basic professional courtesy from the start. There was no acknowledgment of the time spent on the assignment and a total lack of transparency regarding "hidden" requirements. If a specific workflow is required, it should be stated in the instructions, not used as a trap to disqualify high-quality talent. I dodged a major bullet!
