Ineffective and stressful. The pre-screen call started with "Do you have any questions?" but couldn't answer any of the questions I asked about onboarding, training, how remote employees would receive equipment, traveling to the main location, or compensation. When I asked the salary range and that sounded like she was guessing and she couldn't tell me anything about health insurance. I think if you go off script with this person they don't know how to answer. She just kept mentioning the HR VP's name and how they would tell me everything I needed to know. You must take two logic tests, if you pass one, you'll be asked to take the second. One is 12 multiple choice questions in a timed 15 minutes. The second is 25 MCQ over 90 minutes. This process is nerve-wracking and frustrating. Regardless of your experience, or ability to do the job if you can't pass those tests, you won't move forward with the interview process which seems to be another phone screen, then another interview. This is the email I received after I didn't pass the second test:
Thank you for your application for our open position. Unfortunately, we will not be moving forward with your application at the moment but will keep your resume on file and contact you if we have the right opening for you at some later date. Later date when you don't offer logic tests as a screening form? Unlikely.
Seems like you're weeding out a lot of candidates with this process and making it more stressful and difficult than it should be.
