Extremely painful. The interviews with the HR and Skype interview with the hiring managers were pretty easy. It is the online test that is a nightmare. The first online test is a mini Q4, this will take about 2 days to prepare. Next, the real pain is the full Q4 test where there is an examiner to ensure you do the test yourself. You need 2 weeks to prepare for that. All in all, be prepare to spend 3-4 weeks for a low paying job. Agoda has been looking for candidate to fill up this position since last year. I suspect that there needed the CFO to select a few candidates to fly to Bangkok. Do not be too happy if you are selected as you could be only making up the numbers for the selection of this role.

This position was around since last year and the recruitment team is still positing this position on LinkedIn as of yesterday. I am not sure if there are seriously hiring or they are trying to get market intelligence within the VAT and collection processes. I thought I performed very well during the interview, but I received a negative response for my job application for this role. " Thank you so much for your interest you have expressed in collection and VAT Lead position and in employment with Agoda.
However, we decided to proceed the next step with other candidate who we believe is more fit with the role and our current needs. Please be assured that your application was given full consideration." This is after I spent one whole day to complete the online test. While the company proudly claimed that they do not discriminate on ages, and other criteria, I am not sure if I did not get the job because of my look. This was the worse experience I ever faced in my entire life for a job interview. Please stay away from this nightmare if possible.
