Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Aikido Security em mar. de 2026

1st screening call went well. They told me that they wanted to be speedy in the process because they needed to fill in the post ASAP, so I'd hear from them just in a week.
Of course I didn't. I followed up with the HR person and they just ignored me. Fast forward 3 weeks after that and I send them my usual weekly follow up, only for the HR person to send me a very typical automated email (after careful consideration blabla...) with an addition that went along the lines of 'actually when we interviewed you we already knew who we'd hire'.
So disrespectful and a waste of the candidate's time.

Just the usual first HR call. Introduction and review of experiences in the CV.
After a 30min talk with the HR recruiter, they asked for an exercise completed saying it should be completed within 2 hours. I was slightly surprised that they were asking for a case study even though I hadn't met a hiring manger. In hindsight this is a red flag I should have acknowledged. However, after I completed the exercise as quickly as possible, it took no less than 4 hours. I received no response after a week and had to follow up twice in order to receive a response. I received a very confused response saying I hadn't attached an exercise. I had in fact attached the exercise but she had forgotten to forward it to the hiring manager. After chasing a follow up for another week I then received a very obviously automated reply saying they were looking for a candidate with more experience. Very frustrating and both process and person had no respect for my time.

Don't bother wasting your time with this company. Clearly, aikido security doesn't value candidates' time or care about providing any type of feedback. After more than a week, a committed response by the recruiter within a couple of days, I never heard back from them. A recruiter who just started in the week of my interview doesn't justify this type of disrespectful behaviour. What does it say about a company that doesn't even bother to respond to a follow-up email? aikido is clearly a company to avoid. Sure, it's common practise these days for recruiters to treat candidates poorly - despite claiming to value and respect one another - yet a candidate's reality these days is different. Companies, be it aikido or anyone else, especially in the SaaS, Cyber Security, and generally in the Tech space, couldn't care less about providing a minimum level of decency towards applicants as they obviously have an abundance to choose from, hence being respectful is not on the chart.
