Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Airwallex (Londres, Inglaterra) em mar. de 2023
Entrevista
The interview itself was fine, although lengthy (I had a four stage interview). Once I got to the final stage, the interviewer seemed distracted from the first minute and couldn't wait to get off. When it was time for me to ask for questions, I was told we ran out of time and to email it across. I did this, and received no response about my application or the questions. It seems like the whole process was a waste of time, particularly as I went through 4 rounds of interviews.

A recruiter from Airwallex reached out. Following which, there were multiple HR rounds then multiple hiring manager + stakeholder rounds (hiring manager kept changing too).
There were a lot of organizational changes at the firm and the scope of the role they were discussing kept changing. HR was very nice and friendly through the process though.

We went through the basic questions of why I wanted to join etc. I was cut off midway through my answer as they said that I didn’t sound sufficiently excited about joining the company.
They then went on a 15 minute lecture about how I was massively under-qualified for the senior manager position (JD asked for 5-8 years of experience, I had 5), which is completely fair but did you have to schedule an interview to make that point and waste both our time?
Interview ended in 20 minutes with me having barely spoken for a few minutes, and the majority of the time was spent listening to the recruiter’s lecture on my lack of experience and how I might consider trying again in a few years with more experience under my belt.
I’ve been to quite a few interviews and this was definitely the worst experience I’ve had thus far.
