The first 3 rounds were solid. Hiring manager and team stakeholders/ peers were prepared, engaged, and professional. Feedback was positive at every stage. The process moved fast and based on those interactions I was genuinely interested.
However the final rounds were with the APAC leadership and exposed serious red flags in the team culture. He was late to the interviews, rude and dismissive throughout- just a vague, circular fixation on "execution". He seemed to have made up his mind before showing up to the interview. No structure, no rigour, just a super weird way of conducting interview with candidates who have already passed an extensive vettting process ( multiple functional interviews, panel, case study presentation, HR chat).
