The first interview was through phone call and I got asked a series of annoying and probably illegal questions. The interviewer asked can I speak and write email in English as soon as they know I am not from an English-speaking country despite the fact that I am speaking in the very same language on the phone with them at the time. Also got asked why did I came to the US afterward in addition to being very obscure about the job description.
