Getting the interview scheduled was ridiculously hard. I sent my availability to the recruiter, and they would schedule me for a time frame outside of my availability. It was so frustrating! The recruiter wouldn't answer any of my emails, and eventually I had to contact a different recruiter I had previously dealt with to see if she could get the matter resolved. Eventually I had to settle on taking an interview outside of my availability because she wouldn't communicate with me, which was terribly inconvenient . It felt like they didn't care at all. Why bother asking for availability if they are just going to ignore it?
The interview was online and pretty generic with a panel of people. It didn't feel personal at all and the lack of enthusiasm and interest was disappointing. I left knowing I would never try to apply to Alcon again.

Entrevista
The interview process was a joke. I received an email over two weeks ago from an Alcon recruiter saying I was selected for the phone screening. After countless attempts of reaching out to the recruiter with my availability she never scheduled the call. She told me last week that she would get back to me to set up a call for this week. Then I received an email today saying that they are no longer considering me for the position. Why send me the email that I was selected for the phone screening, if I would never have the phone screening?

Entrevista
It was a very long process, with meetings with people of different levels in the company. From first contact to offer, 4 months went by, with about 3 weeks between each interview.

Typical HR questions, manager asked situational questions, BUH asked long term vision questions and GM was also long term vision, number of calls, successes in the past.
The interview process is long and lacks communication throughout the process. I had 6 interviews with various people and about a week in between each interview without any communication. The process left me questioning Alcon’s hiring strategies and unfortunately lead me not wanting to peruse a position with the company. I would recommend anyone considering a position with Alcon to ask for more transparency during the hiring process so you don’t waste your time.
