I was contacted by HR for what was clearly described as a screening call. There was no mention that it would be a technical interview. On the day of the supposed screening, I received a last-minute WhatsApp message confirming the “interview,” which unexpectedly turned into a full technical session. Because the format was not disclosed in advance, I had no opportunity to prepare. Instead of acknowledging this miscommunication, the hiring managers blamed me for not being ready. One interviewer even made a dismissive remark: “Even the basic doesn’t know.” This experience showed a lack of professionalism, poor communication between HR and the hiring team, and a disregard for candidates’ time and dignity. The process left me with a negative impression of the company’s internal culture and respect for applicants.
