The start of the process went through a local recruiter hired by A&A. The supplied job description was considerably brief, but seemed to be a good match for my skill set. After some time, I was able to secure an interview with an interim director who was serving as a consultant.
The first and only phone screen I went through was strictly timed and felt rushed. The questions I was asked were intentionally vague, and it was hard to tell if I hit all the buzzwords they were looking for. There did not seem to be any interest in a deeper conversation about the role.
After all was said and done, A&A didn't believe there was a good fit. I'm placing this as a neutral, because I agree. This would not have worked out.
