The first round was with a recruiter and focused on my previous professional experience. It lasted approximately 25 minutes. The second interview was with the hiring manager, who asked highly academic and technical questions for what was presented as a mid-senior role. To me, it felt more like an academic examination than a professional interview. I also found the hiring manager’s attitude rather arrogant.

I had three interviews when I was hired. Make sure you know your stuff. It’s pretty competitive. It can take a couple tries to get into the company. It’s worth it when you do.
