I was scheduled for an interview, but after arriving, I learned that someone scheduled me by mistake. I was still interviewed, even though the interviewer was not provided a copy of my resume nor did they know anything about my background. We had a very straightforward conversation about the position and expectations. The main fact that was stressed is the number of hours required per week (upwards of 60) and the need to be available late at night in case someone on the night shift called out, in which case someone would need to be contacted to fill in for the call out. The quoted starting salary was 38k, moving up to 45 after 90 days. I was appreciative of the straighfowardness of the interviewer. Going into a high demanding position like this needs to be understood on the front end.
