Had a recruiter reach out to me multiple times and responded to their emails, but no response. Eventually they called me and scheduled an interview decided to give it a shot. The first interview was straight technical, the interviewer had their camera off and just looked for keywords in answers and made it as uncomfortable as possible, was absurdly technical despite being advertised as entry-level. The recruiter seemed kind, but they need better interviewers, as it makes the company seem bad.

Got contacted by recruiter, who is super pushy and really good at making people uncomfortable. He keeps reminded me of showing up ten min earlier in the interview like a robot (but he is not). I did well in the first round, ready to schedule for the second round, then the recruiter told me a photo ID is required to schedule the next round. I never heard photo ID is a necessary step to just interview! I said no, they the pushy recruiter keeps texting me, calling me (even with another phone since I blocked his number). This is fishy, and as a matter of fact, Gmail did label his email a scammer and I could see a "fish hook" warning icon each time he emails me (that was the first hint, should have caught that one). Anyway, this is beyond whether this is a place to consider, this could be scam. I have no doubt they would use your ID/sensitive info to do evil things and they rip employees off big time if you work with them.
