Spoke to a cashier on duty and I asked questions about working there. I was a stay-at-home mom. I needed something to do in order to contribute to the household that wasn’t a typical 9-5 schedule. Afterwards, he gave me an application. I filled it out right in the store. I got a call back from the (gruff) woman who managed the store within a day or two and she told me a bit more about the job and asked me to come in to meet in person. Then I got on the schedule. I think I would have had to display some really rude or bizarre behavior in order to NOT get the job honestly.
