I applied for the position through Indeed, which was listed as a staffing agency, posting at $20/hr. I was contacted for a phone interview, where the Ally recruiter, Shawna, stated that the bankruptcy analyst position was below my requested wage ($50k), but she'd like to discuss other positions, which started between $16 to maybe $18 per hour. I declined those options and was sent an email explaining how that was basically a test, because had I accepted, they would have secretly interviewed me for a lead position, which wasn't posted. I explained I'd be interested in a lead role, and was told none were open, but she could set up an informational meeting. That was cancelled, with an hours notice, and rescheduled. An hour before the rescheduled meeting, I get a voicemail that the recruiter cannot be there, but the leads for the informational will be. I show up to a full 3 lead panel interview, but none are aware of any potential openings. I received no business cards, and under were wearing jeans and t shirts. I was sent an email that they declined to continue with me, but no follow up, as was promised by the recruiter. I contacted her, and was told there were still multiple positions open. I was called I'm for a second interview, where some guy, maybe 22 asked me what job title I saw myself holding in 5 years, and how, while unemployed with a 5 year old, was I improving myself. He also quizzed me in the names of the people I meet previously, who did not introduce themselves. It was a complete mess, and although it was about 5 mins from my house, I wouldn't apply ever again.
