Applied online & was contacted via email by one of their HR people to have a quick 15 minute phone screening. It went well & we then set up via email a date & time for me to interview in person. The HR team at this company is absolutely incredible. At the in person interview I had another screening interview with the HR team which also went well. Then I met the CFO Abraham. He informs me that the job is really just an accounts payable job dressed up & advertised as a staff accountant job. Abraham is a very unpleasant & rude person. He then explains the salary(which was advertised at a range of 45k to 55k) was only going to be 45k. You'd think with a range like that you'd at least be offered the average of ~50k. Abraham was very dismissive of me & my experience. When he walked in the interview room he didn't even introduce himself. Was I supposed to know who he was? I then interviewed with the manager of the accounting department. I don't remember his name but he was a super cool & chill dude. After the accounting manager left the room Abraham returned to ask some more questions & then invalidated me some more when I answered his questions. With all that being said I was told there were more people to interview me. This is an entry level position. Why am I being grilled so hard? At this point I've been sitting in their interview room for nearly 3 hours. Abraham then returned again & says since they're so busy today the other folks won't be able to speak with me & he is just going to give me the offer which was 45k & plus the condition that if I didn't meet his expectations during my 90 days probation period they would let me go. I never responded to the job offer & noped out of there as soon as the interview was finally over.
