Had a screener call with a recruiter. Her energy was good if a little chaotic—minutes before our first call she had to reschedule and picked a time the next day without confirming I could make it. When she didn’t respond to my request to move it I had to make some rearrangements on my end. Annoying, but I was unemployed so I wasn’t in a position to decline the interview. The interview itself was good; I was asked solid questions and got lots of information about the role.
The only other odd thing was that the job description didn’t have a salary range. The recruiter didn’t volunteer a range either, instead asking me for my expectations. I guess Altana isn’t aware of New York’s pay transparency laws or is opting to flout them for now. Overall, it was a neutral experience.
