I applied online through Indeed.com. I got a call about a week later. What happens is HR goes through and throws out the over and under qualified applications and then the management at the branch hiring gets the rest of the applications to go through and pick interviews. They then call, talk for a few seconds, and then ask you to come in for an interview. Three people interview you, and go through a very thick packet, and they take turns asking questions. Although it seems extensive, it is not as bad as it sounds. Everyone at Altra has wonderful personalities and we laughed and joked the whole time! The only other thing is because it is a financial, they pull your credit score. If you do not have a good credit score, you will not get offered the job.
