The interview was a technically challenging conversation that focused more on discussing coding processes and architectural ideas rather than hands-on coding. It included a range of syntax and conceptual questions, blending technical discussion with general conversation to get to know me better.
Really weird and unprofessional interview. Felt like they were belittling me with snide comments about my experience. I could tell that they can't find people to stay long term, but they didn't seem to care that there was a reason why people start then leave amalgamated so quick. They hire two ways: on the website and thru staffing agency. There was very little communication about what the interview would entail which was weird. I didn't feel like they even wanted me there. Also, be prepared for a full interview panel. Old school place (felt like I was stepping back into the 90s), old school people with attitudes, 5 days in office, no notable perks/benefits, pay is a joke for all they expect you to know/do. I don't know how they're still open with how dated the people and technology is. Never heard about this place until I was called to interview with them, and that's for a reason cause they're not doing anything notable. The previous reviews don't lie-- run.

Horrible interview process, the company really is not good at communication via email or on the phone. Unprofessional throughout the whole process and of course didn’t ever hear back yet (as of this review it’s been about 1 year since my interview). The best part was one member of IT found out we went to the same school, he asked who my favorite professor was and when I answered he said, oh that guy was a huge push over. Your typical awkward and anti social IT department.

What is one thing you can bring to the team to update our very old and dated systems ( they still have on site data centers they manage themselves)
