Applied online and received call from Controller a few days later who by all accounts seems like a nice lady who had good intentions. Spoke to Controller and then had an in-person interview the next day at the main office. Was shown around office and met with Accounting team, President, and CEO. Received offer the next day but at less then what I had requested. Company tried to state that with quarterly bonus it would come out to what I requested but quarterly bonuses are not earned in the first 90 days of employment and wouldn't see first bonus check until 6 months after employment and there's no guaranteeing the numbers would work out to what I requested. Made counter offer but counter offer was declined and first offer stood. I accepted the offer and sent my signed offer letter but soon learned afterward that the original offer had been rescinded; after I sent my offer letter. Through this action, the company does not appear to be a trustworthy company and I can't imagine any company that would treat a candidate like that for making a counter offer is one that appreciates is talent is worth working for. This company does not seem to respect it's people.
