The whole interview process took several phone interviews and the on-site interview at the end over a course of several week.
I got contact by a recruiter on LinkedIn and he initiated the conversation. We had a 20-30 Minute chat on the phone, which was mostly him telling me about the company and the role. He asked a little bit about me such as my prior experiences and what I am looking for etc.
Next I had a phone interview with the hiring manager for about 30 minute. The hiring manager asked me about my experiences with things like die cast, injection molding, SolidWorks etc.
Then I had another phone interview with a technical team lead for about 30-45 minutes. He asked very similar questions to the hiring manager in terms of what my experiences with certain manufacturing techniques and design and documentation were.
The last step was the 5-hour on site interview with five different interviewers. They were all either managers or in a senior role. They mainly asked about the leadership principles and behavioral questions.
