The recruiting experience with AWS was very disappointing overall. My interactions with the recruiter were entirely over email, and there was never a direct conversation to explain the interview process, expectations for the role, or even the salary range. The process felt quite impersonal from the beginning. I then interviewed with the hiring manager based in the US. The discussion was fairly standard, and my background aligned well with what they were looking for. However, after that round, communication completely stopped. Despite sending multiple follow-ups, I never received any feedback or update on the outcome of the process. A simple response or closure would have gone a long way and would have reflected much better on the candidate experience.
