I applied through a professional networking site for their Digital Marketing Coordinator position. About a week later I got a call from their Trade Show Manager to set up an in person interview at their home office in the Grand Rapids Area. During this call I was informed that I would also be interviewing for the trade show coordinator position as well as the digital marketing coordinator position. When I got the office I was greeted by that same manager. I interviewed with her first and learned that the digital marketing position was filled. The questions she asked were not basic interview questions. They were
more about my experiences and availability. I then met with the DOS and CEO. The DOS was very nice and easy to talk to. The CEO was also nice but not very professional. He was trying to open a JUUL packet as I was talking. He obviously wasn’t listening to me since the DOS had to reexplain everything to him. His behavior made me realize how he ran his company and was a definite turn off. After a quick discussion with the two of them about myself and my availability the interview ended with the DOS giving me her card. I sent the TS Manager a thank you email the day after as well as a follow up email one week later and no response to any of the emails.
