Entrevista
on campus, askes a series of "about yourself" questions, and then focuses on analytical questions. The second interview focused more on managerial experiance and ability. I know the interview was supposed to take place at the headquarters and involve group case interviews but due to scheduling conflicts it occured over the phone.

Entrevista
Phone interview with 3 Sr. Commodity Managers, and was scheduled to have 4 rounds of half an hour each group on-site interviews. This is the entry-level Commodity Manager(I still don't know why they would call an entry-level position as manager, even without managing anyone) for the aircraft parts and components. The compensation is not high, for 55K the maximum.

Resume drop off at career fair, get selected to interview the very next day and a happy hour too. If you meet the recruiters and they get to know you, you'll probably only interview with one person for first round. If they feel like they didn't get to know you well enough at the career fair and happy hour, then you will probably interview with 2-3 commodity managers. Interview was a mix of behavioral, why american, and simple supply chain questions. Know procurement terms. Almost everyone advanced to the second round which was in their HQ. They fly you out and you have 3 different interviews with managers. Mix of behavioral and supply chain/sourcing questions. There is also a case. Only the people who got an offer heard back, people who did not get an offer didn't even get an email which was disappointing.

How would you calculate the total cost of ownership of a plane?
Case had to do with emailing 2 different managers about your recommendation on which soda supplier to choose with given data about lead times and payment.
New York has raised their minimum wage and now the staffing agency American uses wants to raise their prices towards you by the same percentage. Does this make sense to you? If not, why?
