Like the previous reviewer, I noted that this was a four-step process for a part-time role. First, I was asked to answer questions in a long-form format, then I had a screening call with the hiring manager, then a longer interview with the same hiring manager where they asked me the same questions again but this time listened more closely, maybe? Then I had a panel interview with three folks I would work with, and then finally met with two C-level executives. Mind you, this is a 25/hour per week position with below industry-average pay. They told me repeatedly that this would not transition to full-time, so it's not like you're working towards something. It was insulting and a little bit demeaning to be put through the process, and then call my references and then, nearly two weeks later, reject me as a candidate. Why bother my references if you're not giving me an offer? As a minority myself, I was asked how I furthered DEI by a white female. The majority of the higher level staff are, as the other reviewer said, white females.
Four step (!) interview process for a part-time job. A few weeks after sending my application I was asked to answer interview questions in an essay format. Then I had a phone screening with the hiring manager, followed by an hour long interview with said manager. After that, the same manager (yes, really) interviewed me again along with her subordinates. Finally I met with the president and CEO for the last round. In addition to this lengthy process being overkill for a 25 hr/week position, it was also weird that despite having to answer multiple questions about working in a diverse setting, not a single individual I met with could be considered diverse. In fact, the organization seems to be exclusively white and female. Make of that what you will.
