      Entrevista

      Interviewed on two separate occasions for the same position, got it the second time. I was never contacted to let me know I did not get the job the first time. The management is very casual and made interviewing simple. Communication is not their strong suit if you won't benefit them.

      Entrevista

      I applied online and within 24 hours received an automated email requesting I participate in an online questionaire (test). It consisted of presenting a series of situations and options as to how you would handle each situation. Within the next 24 hours I received an email requesting to set up a time for a phone interview. I felt very comfortable in my conversation with the recruiter, though many of the questions were directly taken from the online questionaire. In less than 5 days I received a phone call asking to set up a face-to-face interview in my local ACS office. I met with 2 hiring managers and had very positive conversations. Basic professional background inquiries, further explanation of the position, and questions regarding my desire to work for ACS. Within 5 days I received another phone call asking to set up a second face-to-face interview. I met with 2 different hiring managers and, again, felt like the conversation was very positive. I did ask specifics regarding the work/life balance and was flat out told there is no balance. That the CRM position is essentially on-call 24/7 and at the mercy of the volunteers and coordinators. I was, however, reassured that ACS does hire from within and if I were to excel in the CRM position and strive for growth within the organization the potential does exist. So my third interview was yesterday, and now I'm just waiting to see what the next step will be. (Hopefully an offer.)

      Entrevista

      I was contacted by the national ACS recruitment team to be a part of the pre-screening process for this position after applying to other similar positions. This consisted of completing a questionnaire, which was a written document asking for a modified/expanded resume as well as answers to a couple of short answer personality questions. After submitting this document via e-mail, I was contacted 2 weeks later via phone. I had a brief (20 minutes) screening phone interview with an assistant to the hiring manager to expand on my written application as well as to clarify the job description; this was very casual. 9 days later, I heard back from the same assistant to schedule an in-person interview. The interviews were all taking place on the same day (4 days after hearing from the assistant). The interview itself was comfortable, but certainly professional. About half of the questions were general personality questions, while the other half were specific to actions I would take as a CRM. There were three hiring managers present, since the position available was flexible in location. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. I heard back from one of the hiring managers via phone one week later letting me know that they had not chosen me for the position. There was no background check or reference check throughout my process; I assume that these are done after an individual is chosen for the position. My biggest piece of advice when applying to ACS is to be patient; decisions seemed to take a long time, and I had to wait at least 1 week between each stage of the interview process.
