O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela American Eagle Outfitters em jan. de 2010
Entrevista
When I initially turned in my application, I was given a quick 1:1 interview with a manager who seemed to be not even 2-3 years older than me. All she tried to do was get me to come out and say how American Eagle is better than competitors such as A&F, Aero, etc. I wasn't even expected an interview after that, but surprisingly I was called three weeks later and was asked to come in for a group interview. The group interview was with two other people. We sat in the back of the store on the couches. Lasted about 45 minutes. We were asked typical questions along with "If you could be a cartoon/TV character/superhero, which one would you be and why?" type questions. Trying to lighten the mood? I don't know. We were all then told that she enjoyed the time she spent with us and that she would be calling our references. She said she'd get back to us later that day or the next to schedule orientation. Two days go back, no phone call. I called my references after the interview to let them know they should be receiving phone calls. Two days.. no phone calls. I call American Eagle to inquire my application status and I am told that they haven't called me because they have no heard back from my references. They never even called them! I asked if they would like for my references to call and they told me it wasn't necessary because they had already called them and left a message for a call back. Does that even make any sense? Haha. I don't think it's right to tell people you're going to do something that you're not and then lie about it. If they didn't want to hire me, all they have to do is say the position is full or that it isn't going to work out. No hard feelings! Even if they do call me back, I will not accept the job offer (if there even is one). The manager (Wasn't the one who interviewed me either) I spoke with on the phone was very rude and unpleasant. Beware of AE. You'll probably just end up feeling like you're a piece of cattle being herded in and out for these group interview type settings.. probably an insight as to what the job is going to be like?

-pretty easy, went inside for an interview and they asked me about my experience. They then made me try on a bunch of clothes and taught me how to fold them.

It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
