I continued to finish the whole facility being shadowed. We drove to another nursing home. She showed me how that home would have the patient draw books. Then I completed that home. We did four nursing facilties that day. She explained to me about the hiring process. She set up a date and time for my background check. Explained what i would be getting paid by the hour and I would paid mileage for using my personal vehicle. But I would only get hourly pay if I worked over forty hours a week. I would get paid my the home. She explained the on call shifts and what hours i would expect to be on call. The on call shift pay and what i would get per call per patient.
