Candidatei-me por meio de uma agência de recrutamento. Fui entrevistado pela American Income Life (Pittsburgh, PA) em abr. de 2017
Entrevista
Asked to come in from an unrelated posting on Indeed.com. The name of the company was not given before the interview - so you have no time to research before being bombarded with their 'truth'. They had a brief talk (not even an interview) followed by a presentation with very limited information but lots of very nice sounding words and numbers. This was followed up by an offer of a second interview - where I was told to expect a job offer (one I will not be taking them up on).
In researching the company, they glossed over some very important parts - that they don't take taxes out for you (inflating perceived salaries), that you will be required to pay for everything (there is no travel/gas budget - despite requiring frequent travel), and numerous other costs that severely cut into your 'expected' salary. Oh, and of course the unpaid 'training' that they don't bother mentioning isn't paid. (I feel the need to point out the pyramid-style payment structure which promotes hiring people even if they aren't going to perform well, as you are rewarded for gaining more peons below you, not for improving the company's efficiency.)
The wording of the positive reviews on glassdoor says it all - 'you just have to trust the system'. This is cult language - language that implicitly assumes you to be too unintelligent to grasp the complexity of the scenario, but expects you to be gullible enough to believe them at face value.
Do not trust them at face value, do your own research, come to your own conclusions.

Interview so far was fair, mainly a presentation about the company, in group setting, with a manager 1:1 afterwards. Overall more a discussion than an interview, with a signup to start learning for the licensing exam.

Overview video was watched. Also answered some questions at the end. Once questions are reviewed someone will reach out (if thought to be a good fit ) for a second interview. This part could take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. Once on to next step an interview will be conducted via zoom.

You’ll first receive an invitation to watch an introductory video. Then, you’ll be invited to a group presentation. After that, you’ll complete a one-on-one interview with a manager before getting hired.
