I arrived and the room was full of other candidates. We were all brought one by one into a office to meet with someone. Based off the 60 seocnds we spent with them, they determined whether or not to bring us to the group information session. We were told we could go and would be recieving a call back that afternoon if they wanted us back for an interview. It was all based on first impressions

Candidatei-me de outra forma. O processo levou 2 dias. Fui entrevistado pela American Income Life (North Charleston, SC) em set. de 2014

      Entrevista

I was contacted by a Priscilla who said her manager saw my resume posted on Monster.com. She wanted me to come in for an interview, which I scheduled with her. Since I hadn't actually applied for the position, it was weird that I had to actually ask what the name of the company was. She actually told me the name of the company is "Panzer." In retrospect, I think she did this, so I couldn't effectively research the company ahead of time. When I walked in the door, I sat down since no one showed up to greet me for about 10 minutes. When they finally did show up, they had me fill out a half-page candidate application. There were actually about 8 clipboards liked up there, so it started to seem like they were more in the business of interviewing candidates than they were selling insurance. A girl named Hannah took me back for the interview, which lasted about 5 minutes. She asked me general interview questions, wrote two words down, and told me I was a good fit for the job and would like me to do a second interview. She had me sit in a room with a classroom setup and fill out a paper that had more interview type questions and an old school personality multiple choice test. The "interview" the next day was a PowerPoint presentation. She started it by saying "we like to do this, so you don't think this is a scam." She told us an average employee initially averages $50,000/year. She told us about how some of these people are able to drive BMW's. (I saw her car in the parking lot, and it was an old beat up Volvo.) Within two years with the company, typical earnings are $300,000-$1,000,000/year. All you have to do is decide how much you want to make! She did her conclusion quickly, explaining the expenses we would have to pay up front before we can start working. For anyone actually considering working for this company, it is a multi-level marketing scheme. That means it's set up similar to a pyramid scheme, but because they're selling a real product, it's technically legal. If a company has to sell you on why they're not a scam and their promises seem way too good to be true, it probably is! No legitimate job is going to ask you to pay money to get a "great" job! Ask yourselves if they would have such a hard time finding good candidates if $100,000/year was really realistic.
