I started with a 30-minute phone interview with HR, then another 30-minute phone interview with Sales. Final step was a live in-person interview that lasted about 1 hour at their HQ office.

After a couple panel interviews I was sent an offer letter via email. Several hours later I got a call from the Company’s HR department letting me know I was being offered the job, which was odd. In all my years I’ve usually gotten a verbal offer with the offer details emailed after the fact. When the HR representative contacted me I told her I am a wife and mother and would love to hear from a current female employee in a similar role within the company who maybe has a family to get her perspective before I signed the offer letter. I was then sent a letter informing me they were moving forward with another candidate and I was no longer being considered for the role- again, this is after sending an offer letter to me just the previous day. Can’t help but feel like I just dodged a bullet.
