I was approached by a third party of this position. I cleaned first round with the hiring manager. While I was in the third round I was notified that AMA would not like to move forward so I had to cut short the interview. The person was shocked to hear that as she had spoken to hiring manager right before the interview. Fourth interview was cancelled. My experience was the Hiring Team was unprofessional, dominant and came off as threatening. The pay is lower than the Market.

I applied online, was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screen, then I had one interview with the hiring manager, one interview with two other project managers, and a panel interview with two director-level employees. Initially, everything went well and really quickly. I was in constant contact w/ the recruiter (or sometimes her assistant) every week, but then two weeks went by and I heard nothing. Then the job was reposted online. Then I followed up 3 separate times via email to see what was going on. It wasn't until that third time that I found out I did not get the position, but there was no reason given as to why which isn't helpful as a candidate. I really admire the AMA, but it is a shame how they treated me as a candidate.
