Interviewing with American Pacific Mortgage (APM) was the absolute worst interview experience I've ever gone through. Complete lack of professionalism. So bad was it I'm not really sure how to describe it. But I'll try. The interview experience began in May of 2018, and ended in Sept 2018. During this time I was told no less than six times to expect an offer letter, and none ever arrived. The only thing that did arrive was excuse, after excuse of why the offer letter wasn't sent. I even received an video invite from the CEO to attend their annual meeting. I was told by the local ASM that all expenses would be covered. Of course no travel plans were ever made, and once again no follow through. The irony of all of this I was told by a fellow LO that this would probably happen as this isn't uncommon for APM to over promise, and not deliver. I actually have a lot to say but ultimately my final thought is to STAY AWAY!

Conducted interview over the phone and straightforward onboarding process. Interview questions were easy, just need NLMS license to qualify. Interviewer was easy going. Company is very relaxed in terms of hiring loan officers as it's not salary but commission based.
