I was requested to schedule a phone interview the same day that I applied. The phone interview was with a lady from HR. It was typical questions about my experience. She requested I do an assessment which is not time but they do request you not spend over 4 hours on it. I submitted the assessment the next day and she told me I’d be contacted in 1-2 weeks. I was contacted about 10 days later and asked to come in for an interview Before the interview, I was asked to fill out a paper application and do a 30 min written assessment. The interview was with the same HR lady from the phone and the front end lead. HR talked more about company and benefits. The lead wanted me to walk him through my resume. We went over the written assessment. I did pretty good on the assessment. Out of about 24 questions I missed 4. He was reassuring that it was no big deal that I didn’t know all the answers, bringing up that they have a training period that is designated to help “fill in the gaps”. At the end, I was asked by HR lady what my salary requirements was(she said it was in range for them) and my availability. I told her I needed two weeks, she asked kind of seemed put back by that (I wasn’t employed). She said that some people were starting the following Monday I left thinking it went well. I sent a thank you email after the interview but, I never heard anything. I was ghosted! Which is very disrespectful of candidates time spent doing assessments and interviewing.. I mean how hard is it to copy, paste and send a rejection email.

The interview process was described to me as follows. First interview would be the classic call with HR to introduce yourself, hear more about the roll and company. There would then be two more interviews, One with the Hiring manager and then a 3rd with some members of the team.
