Had an initial assessment and personality test. Was then asked to re-enter all of my information.
Had an initial like 20 minute assessment with I believe someone from the hiring team. Passed that and got a 1 hour interview with 2 people asking questions back to back. Felt I hit it off with all three folks I talked with and was ecstatic with the pay. The team was super responsive but I didn't make it, the official reason being lack of experience. I find that odd considering they had my resume and Linkedin since before the interview so I'm assuming they just didn't vibe with me.
The posting is still up which I'm quite surprised considering the pay, and it's remote, plus the benefits seem really good so it makes me wonder if they're actually hiring for this position.
Interview was normal, asked for difference customer scenarios.

Two initial asks, if recruiter responds to initial online application. First ask will be a Predictive Index Survey. This survey takes a few minutes. Second ask will be a TestGorilla assessment. This assessments, at random times, will take video.
Recruiter then reached out and stated they would like to schedule interview, with hiring manager. This required entering all application information, for a second time, to the company online system.
At this point, I asked company recruiter, if this position was backfill or new. She informed me backfill, as the previous employee had some health issues and had to leave the position. I did a Linkedin search for Ameriflex DBA. I found one name. I did a web search and tragically, in Plano, TX, found his obituary. I became concerned, as this employee had tragically died ten months earlier. Very clear warning sign, as this position had been open for multiple months, and nobody had been hired. Thoughts of the hiring manager may be in analysis paralysis, or perfect is the enemy of good territory.
Video Interview setup with hiring manager, developer, and scrum master. Typical what is your favorite color questions, and etc… Understandably, trying to find folks who work well in a team. I think hiring manager took a slight bad cop role. The other two team members more of the good cop role. Be prepared to use Google meet. I think these folks assume everyone else uses it. Be prepared for SQL questions on the fly, and display them real time on active meeting.

Please beware of the following and don’t waste your time unless you’re really interested: 1. It’s a the behavioral test, 30 min phone screen and then an hour interview. You will be required to complete a behavioral test that is recorded. You are required to be on camera. It’s lengthy, almost 45 mins and they ask math questions that have 0 things to do with the position itself. Then you take a personality quiz. 2. You will be required to fill out the entire application over once you pass the recruiter stage. They have nothing saved. 3. For this position, you will be asked about scrum and agile, none of which is mentioned in the job description so you wouldn’t know unless you have experience or you are blindsided. The median pay range for scrum or even experience with scrum is a good $20k over the top of their listed range for this role which is $55k. 4. They ask awful questions for an hour at the last stage, ranging from your favorite color, the kind of animal you’d be, how your degree has contributed to your current job (in this day and age when many ppl either do not have degrees or have degrees in something completely separate but still have experience. Completely pointless), and a bunch of other basic questions. You could Google interview questions and practice answering them and you’d pass. 5. The position is new and they don’t offer a bunch of info about it. It’s basically help desk 2.0. They don’t explain how the position will benefit the company, what the actual team is that you will be on or what a day to day will be like. The final round interviewers are a software engineer and a developer, no mention of who your higher up will be and what you’re expected to know if you report to one of these ppl. But Again, none of which is mentioned in the job description and you don’t know any of this until the final round after they’ve wasted your time and funny enough, their own. Probably won’t stand a chance if you don’t meet the requirements for the job description they didn’t post so…..beware 🌚
