My interview process with Amerit Fleet Solutions was disorganized and frustrating. A recruiter initially contacted me saying my resume had been selected by the hiring manager for a phone interview. We scheduled a time, but on the day of the interview, no one called. After I followed up, the recruiter admitted to a scheduling mistake and rescheduled. When the new date arrived, it was not the hiring manager who called, but the recruiter conducting an initial screening, contrary to what I’d been told. After the phone screening, I was informed I’d be scheduled for a hiring manager interview the following week and would receive an email from the reecruiter to coordinate, but days passed without any communication. I made a follow-up email and did not get any response until few days after, when I eventually received a rejection email. The process lacked clear direction, communication, and transparency, and ultimately kept my hopes up without delivering on commitments.
