Long interview process. Recruiter communicated that the team was going to move fast in decision making so I made myself available for several weeks. Had several leadership interviews and team interviews. Did a case study. The reason behind my overall experience being negative is that each time I felt the interviewers were somewhat badly prepared. You could tell the confusion amongst team members - the team dynamics and work evolution was not clear for most of them. I went through 5 rounds and honestly, looking back it was a waste of time since they immediately got back to me after a case study saying that they wont move forward.
let me say that I had the exact experience and more for what they needed, and had the right leadership exp to guide the team through what seemed like a really uncertain environment for the technical team.
The reviews on Glassdoor did raise an alarm for me initially but I did want to see it through since I did truly like the product from what I found out.
Either ways, I would warn interviewees that they might be wasting candidate's times as they aren't fully clear on the direction within the company (could be owing to a merger) and so are either 1. testing the market, 2. gathering data from candidates through the case studies as I was real time solving a problem for them that they are currently encountering.
