      Entrevista

I was emailed to come in for an interview, with no pre-screening or over the phone interview first. This was maybe a few weeks to a month after applying. After a google maps mishap, I contacted them letting them know I would be a bit late trying to get to them, which was an honest mistake but being late is something that seems to seal everyone's fate for some reason. I gave them fair warning made sure they still could and wanted to meet with me, and they were happy to. When I arrived, I waited in the lobby area. It was the last interview of the day and the place was pretty empty. After 10-15 minutes I was taken back by someone who didn't introduce themselves. I thought it was an interviewer, but much later found out it was the head HR person, who didn't think to introduce themselves. I was brought into a small conference room with three interviewers, the Head of Design, the Creative Director, and a Visual Designer (not the one that the original email said would be there). Unfortunately, the Head of Design had to leave about 30min in, which was partly due to my mishap, but I felt I was able to make good points and introduce my experience and interest well to her in that time. I proceeded to go through my work and experience with them openly, tell them about myself and my story, and let them know about all the things I am involved in and how they would pertain to the position. I had done research on the company and pointed out many specific examples during the interview. Over all, for an interview I was slightly late to, I felt it went very well and by the end we all ha a great rapport. The next day, I crafted 3 very personalized thank you letters, addressing different topics that came up in the interview to each person. Cut to one week later, I had heard no response what so ever, even to my thank you emails. Then, oddly, I saw I had a missed call from a person in their HR, the same person I had called the day of the interview to let them know I would be a bit late. I called back the number, and sure enough, it was that person, who said she hadn't, in fact, called me, but thought it might have been someone else or her supervisor (the same woman who had failed to introduce herself to me the week before). I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss any vital info on my status, so she transferred me to the head of HR. When she picked up, I told her what had happened briefly (assuming her employee had filled her in), and her curt response, instead of maybe investigating further and finding out if there was some sort of miscommunication, or an unrelated message, said dismissively "No, I didn't call you, sorry" and hung up. Needless to say, I didn't feel like a Human Resource. I then never heard anything back from anyone, and decided it just wasn't in the cards.

      Pergunta 1

In the end of the interview, as we all had laptops out, the Creative Director started doing emails and working on a design problem his team was facing, and then asked me and his Visual Designer about it.
