Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Amtrak (Washington, DC) em ago. de 2019
Entrevista
The questions are kind of read out from any trivial HR book that bears no relevance to the job role and necessary skills. Panelists hardly engaged in any conversation other than reading out the questions and kept busy typing the response in their notebooks. I felt like talking to a wall and extremely uncomfortable. I'm glad I wasn't offered as anyone with generic HR skills can crack this kind of interview and my IT skills wouldn't stand out in the actual job if that's the expectation from this role.

Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Amtrak (Chicago, IL).

Very smooth and direct! I've never been interviewed by a panel before. And was worried there would be 4+ people asking me questions. But it was only 2 gentlemen who asked less than 10 questions. I was stressed for nothing!

Why do you want to work for Amtrak? How are you with being on your feet all day? How do you deal with a switch up during service?
The entire process takes far too long. I had an initial hr screen one month after I applied. Then my first technical round 2 weeks later. I got feedback I did well, but after months they never scheduled the final round. Apparently I'm still in the process but it's been 3 months since my first interview and still no scheduling for the next round.
First technical round is pure q&a, seems like they have a list of questions for both front end and back end.

How do you prevent multiple form submissions?
What is lombok?
There were two rounds of interviews. The first interview with hr talent acquisition asking general questions about experience and amtrak then the second interview was with a panel and more job specific and behavioral questions on zoom
