Over the course of four interview rounds interviewed with a total of 11 people and had give a presentation. Overall the people I spoke with were professional and enthusiastic about their work which was really refreshing to experience. However, they really need to streamline their interview process. Four interview rounds with 11 people and a presentation for this type of position is excessive. Unfortunately, there were a couple of instances of more senior staff making some ageist comments directed towards me which I did not appreciate. The HR rep also failed to follow-up with me several times (e.g., "I'll call you at 4pm with an update," but no call). While I enjoyed meeting with several members of the team, the ageist comments, lack of professionalism from HR, and lengthy interview process means I'll think twice about applying here again.
