      Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Anderson Center for Autism.

      I got notification of an interview opportunity with not even 2 hours to get there. That element alone was quite unprofessional, as I would have preferred more time to prepare—I respect their time & wanted to show it. But it worked out well enough—I got a second interview. They required *extensive* (over 5 hours’ worth) unpaid pre-work for the second interview, which should have been a red flag for how little they’d value my time. I was one of three potential employees who made it to the second round. I was personally invested in & interested in the position, though, so I did it, despite my misgivings. I didn’t get the job, which was fine (I saw the names of the other applicants- unbelievable on its own!!! - & Googled them, & they were more qualified, so it made sense—I knew that I wouldn’t get the job that day). The thing that really made the process unacceptable was the fact that these people did not even take the time to let me know I didn’t get the position. I bent over backward to accommodate their schedule from the first interview to the last (despite crappy reviews on Indeed— should have listened), & put in so much work for the second… they couldn’t even bother to write a sentence or make a phone call to let me know. So inconsiderate & unprofessional. A team of approximately 10 people interviewed me, & nobody lifted a finger. They did say they’d notify applicants by the end of the week, but did not. I could not believe it. I am likely doxxing myself to this organization by outlining these very specific circumstances, but honestly, after such treatment I wouldn’t work for them if they asked. Not to mention they have have intellectual property I created for the interview, & that they can potentially use in the future. I feel so used. Ugh.
