The assignment was not very specific, therefore leaving it open to interpretation on how far to take it. Of course when you're desiring a new job, you'll go above and beyond. There were no guidelines around how much time to spend or offer to pay for the work. I got the impression this was not a dummy project but rather a real project the team was actively working on and thinking through.
