So I applied for the merchandising position as well as the planning/allocation internship. I was emailed to have a phone interview for the planning/allocation position. I was never followed up with for the merchandise position. After the first phone interview which was mainly me being asked to explain how I have been analytical and to explain situations where I have had to do lots of critical thinking or worked with a team I was emailed to see if I would instead interview for the sourcing/product development and production internship position. It went fine. It was pretty easy questions. Classes that I had taken and enjoyed. Why ANN INC. I tried to spin it so that it made sense for product development. Definitely just make sure that you sound excited. After that phone interview I think I had to do another phone interview since i was switching to a different department. I had my phone interview at 9:30am and got an email about scheduling a skype interview an hour after my phone interview. The timing was during my spring break so I had to conduct all 3 skype interivews (1 with the HR talent resource manager, then 2 different managers from different departments in the company) while I was on vacation. Had those skype interviews where the managers talked about some of the duties and roles. Had the skype interviews on a Wednesday and was offered the position the next week Thursday,

Questions surrounding knowledge of the industry and strength in analytics. A well prepared candidate will be able to speak to their background and achievements and how they translate to the role they are interviewing for.
